Tips for self-esteem of women

Women's self-esteem has always been much lower than that of self-esteem of men. This stems from our childhood, where kids are encouraged to take risks, be strong and be leaders. The girls, on the other hand, are encouraged to be nice and quiet and polite to visitors. Is it any wonder that many women suffer from feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem?

So what can be done to women self-esteem? Here are three simple actions to take to improve your carestimate today.

1. Accept what you like and release any feeling you have that you should be different.

This may seem perverse, but the truth is that which resists, persists. If you wish you were different and they had higher levels of self esteem to get your way and perpetuate the problem. Start by accepting that you are who you are. Release no need to be different.

The surprising thing is that once you stop resisting you allow room for a change.

2.Love yourself unconditionally.

Look in the mirror, look deep into your eyes and talk to you like you may speak with a loved partner. Really in touch with your reflection behind you and say things like, "I love you", "You are appreciated", "I approve of you," "You're beautiful," "You are strong," "You are brave." Keep your eyes and your project really love and acceptance for your consideration. I begin to believe the wonderful things you say to yourself.

3.Focus outside yourself.

Help someone else less fortunate than you. Volunteer at a local charity, a hospital or group for children.

You could probably teach basic life skills for young adults who are on probation or in prison – often it is a lack of these basic skills that brought them to a life of crime.

Or you could facilitate the reading and writing at your local school or with learning disabled adults.

There are hundreds of options to help someone else.Each turn your attention outward and away from you to someone less capable than you. In this way, you pull out of the spiral of depression that tends to feed on low self-esteem and help increase their self-esteem.

If you are working with these three ideas then you'd have raised self-esteem. You will begin to feel better about themselves and more able to cope with life without being depressed.
